I have always thought about writting a book....most probably be a children's book on coins. Telling the story of my life from mintage ,where it traveled to, who spent me....where on what? Just a fun cross section of the life of a coin traveling throughout the next 100 years! How did I end up in Europe....and now in a soft album in the small town of St Elmo anywhere....? and of course one needs a title. How about " I use to be a new nickel "
Don't forget the part where someone pitched it in a urinal and a coin collector came along and fished it out.
Oh that will be a whole chapter on that alone.....how about you illistrated in a scuba suit ? Ready to take on the NY subway rest rooms. .....saving an 1918/7 buffalo nickel that just flew over on the Concord , in King Charles pocket. Blowing his rather large nose the coin fell from his hanky into the porcelain potty....this is where you come in....well dive in....
What a great idea. History for our younger beginning collectors. You could ask for ideas from members here and let the imagination run wild. If I'm still around, I'd be happy to proofread your book before publication, but don't wait too long.
I'm not sure if you're joking but you really are on to something with this idea. I think that would be awesome.
I'm very scared of aging. Reality hits me like a brick in the face sometimes when I think back to some certain occasion when I was young and then I realize my age now and how fast my life is going... it's enough to make one want to tear up
Nothing to be scared about as it happens to all of us. Each year you get a little older, a few more eights and pains, etc. Everybody you know ages as well so you do it with style and grace.
