Reverse looks strange, may be a fake or it's been dipped too many times. Can't get over that weird nose gap. I don't think it's real, that's my vote.

Well now that I've enlarged the pics, it looks real. :D That said, the surface looks like it been dipped from here to China.

It is indeed. And it is a well known anomaly, sometimes referred to as the "broken nose". Parts of throat are also missing on some examples.

But is it Full Bands ? That depends on who you ask and what set of definitions they choose to use. PCGS only uses the center band to make the determination, NGC uses all 3 bands to decide. Using NGC's definition, I'd have to say no it is not.

And no, it is not even close to MS. Nor do I see any signs of harsh cleaning.

So Doug what about the lips on this one, sort of reminds me of the 88 hot lips Morgan ?

I think all you're seeing are peculiarities of this specific coin (the OP's coin) due to contact marks on the lips.

Here is the most extreme example I could find -

And when you compare it with a '19-S where the detail hasn't been polished away, I don't see any differences in the lips.

Thanks Doug, I must admit never have seen this type of variety before. I wouldn't mind having one for my collection . It's very different type of error.
