error penny 199?

    I have a penny missing the last number in the date. Looks like a lot of doubling to. My penny looks very rough, is it worth anything?

    You would get more enjoyment out of that coin if you threw it in a wishing well.

    From what I can see, it looks like a parking lot penny. That's why it's so rough, cars have driven on it and people have walked on it. That's probably what did away with the last digit, too. I don't think that it's anything. Sorry, but look on the bright side - I'm quite often wrong!
