lurking in the cash register - old and shows it.

    This old soldier was lurking in the cash drawer today. Neat to find these old war nickels now and then in circulation. Lots of wear on this long traveled Nickel.

    My best till find was a 1909 vdb in a solid AU, still had a bit of red clinging to it. You never know what lurks in the till.

    Amazing. I've never pulled an AU Wheatie out of circulation. My best is a few Xf mid 40's and 50's cents.

    I find S/D/Ps out here on the west coast,never did in Boston area.....

    My son is working at Starbucks over the summer and yesterday he brought me home a buffalo nickel he got out of the register. It's extremely worn and I can't see any hint of the date anymore.

    I asked the person working the cash register if she has seen any old coins and she hands me 32 walkers for face :)
