1976 half with gouge?

    Hi Everyone! I've just run across this pretty nice looking 76 half, with a nice big gouge/pit. What do you think? Damage at the mint, or sometime after? 1976-gouge.jpg

    That gouge could be a Struck Through foreign object. Not that easy to make a pit like that on a coin. Here is a better look at it

    It also appears it could have been a lamination that detached. Maybe ANACs if you wanted to waste money, but it doesn't appear large enough to get a premium near the fee.
