Also Navajo language was not known to Japanese and that why. We had no other choice but use nukes.

Spent 17 cents this afternoon at work. These came out of registers today and I was hardly even looking. The silver dime made me happy because the date caught my eye not the color, sound, or rim.

I sent this in to NGC, certain it would grade at least XF. To my suprise, and dismay, it came back AU Details, Improperly Cleaned. I am surprised, because I can't see any evidence of a cleaning, and if cleaned it must be an old one. Should I send it in to get it regraded? I am a bit upset because I bought it from a reputable dealer that I know some us CT'ers have bought from. He told me it would grade at least XF. Here are some more coins I sent in to get graded. Some are part of my "12" type set. I thought the 1912 S Liberty Nickel was at least an F 12. NGC didn't see it that way.

I specifically told him I was going to send it in, and it looked like a great raw piece. I didn't pick up the cleaning with my loupe.

If you bought it from a reputable dealer, I think I'd take it up with the dealer first. But, I don't see any evidence of cleaning in the pictures, either, so I think it has a good shot at grading cleanly if you crack it out. JMHO. :)

Pick this up last weekend. The Kennedy half has a die crack leading from the bridge of the nose. You can't see it from the photo. The photos are the sellers.

I even took it to one of my LCS's and he was surprised at the details grade too. He couldn't see a cleaning either. I think I'll give it another shot.

If you see no signs of obvious cleaning I would crack it out and either resubmit to NGC or submit it to PCGS.

Thanks. It is even nicer looking in hand. It's so shiny it looks like a chrome car bumper. I saw the pictures and knew I had to have it.
