Picked this up for my 7070 album. It's my first bust quarter. I've been on the hunt for a while now and this one fit the budget. I think it's a solid VF. What's everyone else think.
    Thanks

Nice repunched date too sold vf coin. These are not cheap finding the date needed and condition one can lay down some serious money. Plus even the common dates are pricy as well hard to find.

Nice coin. That's a B-1 (R1) which is the most common of the 1835 varieties, but it has that great high 3 on the date. The coin was struck from the final die state of this reverse die (the cud on the A in STATES on the reverse is the giveaway). Examples of the final die state are typically not fully struck in the area of the eagle's claws. It looks like a VF25 to me, possibly a VF30 on a good day.

Don't want to be a nit picker , but cuds are on the rim , die chips on the A . ;)

Funny. I was thinking that exact thing as I typed it. But man, I really like calling those cuds too! How about we split the difference and call it a die blobby?
