I think you did pretty decently. I've seen those sell for both more and less in those grades. Pretty coins, with some cool history.

 

Thanks George. Ever since I started metal detecting I have loved colonial era coins. At first I preferred to find a common large cent to a colonial copper, now it's the opposite. I was happy to see some early Spanish Silver in my coin shop today and bought all except for the $30 1777 Two Reale.

 

I know nothing about prices, but the coins are cool and if you like them, then you made a good purchase

 

I got mine for $25.

 

I would say that you have a good deal: 54 dollars for these coins is not too much.

 

I think that you did well, especially on the 1721 one reale, I would have been willing to pay more if confronted with that example.
