bronze colored 1950 no mint penny with like a band around it, and it sticks to a magnet

    Without being able to see it, check to see if the band around it is a bezel put on for use in jewelry.

    I'm having a little trouble figuring out what category this error falls into.

    Is it "wrong planchet" (struck on air instead of bronze)?

    Is it "missing layer" (one of the one layers is absent)?

    Is it "underweight planchet" (by 100%)?

    Is it "100% grease-filled die"?

    I'm not sure how important the "sticks to a magnet" part is, if the magnet is so very strong that not even light can escape its pull...
