Lee Minshull? You don't know the current ANA Foreman Dealer of the Year? I've never seen a deeper slabbed Baseball HoF inventory. One of THE MAJOR modern coin dealers, but not only moderns. Does classic gold too.

 

Never heard of him, but then, I only deal with one modern dealer, the one with the worst customer service, the U.S. Mint.

You know, I get to about 4 local shows per year because an old friend drags me. I have very little left to spend on classics (and I have most of what I want) because The Mint sucks most of my coin money. Although I appreciate all these new issues that are going to the moon, I wish they'd slow down, but that's unlikely.

 

Not only is THAT unlikely, it's unlikely they won't speed up! The best thing about ANA shows is the other stuff, not the bourse floor. Learning, networking, social environments. Opportunities to speak directly to Mint management.

 

Yeah, I'm close to Portland, OR, but we decided not to go this year, maybe next year.

Kinda. It's in the convention center across the street from Disneyland's main entrance. Of course that DOES expose the risk of a "Mickey Mouse" ANA show.

 

Both are in Anaheim, CA. Sounds like a road trip to me.

 

WOW, should be easy to sneak away. We'll have to talk closer to the show date.

 

It'll be the most family-friendly ANA show in my time going.
