Is there a website to go to find out the dates for the annual release of common coins for circulation? I also would like to ask if there is this site place to go to would one need to wait like a couple of weeks before expecting the banks to actually have them?

Probably. The logistics to get new coins into circulation is big. Where you live is also a factor in the amount of time it takes before you see new coins. The farther away you are from the US Mint facilities the longer it takes. So if you live in Florida you might see Philadelphia minted coins before Denver minted ones.

Thank you and yes, Denver coins are almost rare in Florida. I wish there was a schedule somewhere for their release dates.

There is no single or annual release date, the coins are released at numerous times over the course of the year. And, not all denominations are released at the same time, but at different times over the course of the year.

They don't mint all denominations at the same time either. They start minting one denomination, whichever one they need to mint the most of the soonest, a couple months before Jan. of the upcoming year. Once a given number of those are minted they move on the next denomination, and then the next and so on. Once they run through them all, they start the process all over again.

They begin releasing the new year's coins in Jan. and continue releasing them throughout the year. When the coins are released by the mint in what they call "ballistic bags" weighing a couple tons or more, those bags are sent to various private companies where the coins are broken down into smaller bags and or rolls. Then those smaller bags and rolls are distributed to the Federal Reserve banks, which in turn then release them the individual private banks. The whole process can take quite a while. And it continues on throughout the year. Then it starts all over again the following year.

The controlling factor is the Federal Reserve . FRBservices.org. FedCash Services, Depositing and Ordering. Every Bank has an account with Fed Reserve, to accomplish the tasks.
Your local bank will also order for you, and it is hit or miss if you get what you want, but I have not had any problem when I placed certain orders.
I don't know if this helps or not, but there it is.
