Good morning I want to alarm you all on what almost happen yesterday with this coin . The mail carrier tried to steal the package, she scanned the package in as undeliverable . Thank god I've been tracking the coin since it left, I got on the phone and track down the package and the boss brought it to my house last night with a whole bunch of question too . You should cross off the eBay logo from now on from the label .. Heres the link to the tracking https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?qtc_tLabels1=9400109699939922965425

That's great that you finally received it. It's not a scam but straight out stealing if this is what occurred. Did the boss say that it was stolen or an attempt to be stolen? I heard a story from my local coin dealer of a mailperson that would get the packages for delivery, would go out to deliver and the packages would never arrive. He lost a few coins but eventually the person was caught, prosecuted and convicted. The person works for the Federal Government so it's a Federal crime.

She said that she couldn't understand why it didn't get delivered, package had the right address, no damage to package, the boss never said anything about stealing, but thats expected from the boss . Lets see if she still on the route monday .

Sometimes they just scan it wrong. Have had tracking status updated as "undeliverable" for both packages sent and received a few times, but it always arrived without my having to make any calls.
If they really wanted to steal it, they would just mark it as delivered at your address or a non-existing one.

I knew this package was coming and waited at the door when the carrier showed up, no reason the package wasn't delivered . Worse yet, you only have until the end of the day to stop it from going back to the sender . The real question is, would it got sent back to the sender in one piece, thats the million dollar question ..

Watch UPS also they know what's in the boxes from the fulfillment center. I had one here trying to rip me off. Unfortunately he's still on the route. I always request everything I buy or order come USPS or FedEx , won't accept delivery from ups any longer.

Where did this robbery occur? I think someone got their coin stolen on here. Maybe the same crook?

  9. Something similar happened to me. This can happen if package was placed on wrong truck for delivery. It is scanned as undeliverable, returned to PO, and placed on correct truck route the next day for delivery. Your carrier should be back on her route Monday. Glad you got your package. TC

Believe me they know what's in the boxes . And here's how I found out... when the 5 coin set of the ASE ' S came out. It did come by ups much to my dismay! The jerk whom drives on my neighbor hood route is a real jerk ! Drives over the speed limits in the neighborhood talks on the cell phone it's illegal to use a hand held cell while driving here. Anyway Once I found out that the mint shipped ups I called ups to put a trace on it. A supervisor sent him back to my home. Then the jerk tried to fast talk and over spoke as he said oh that's silver coins from the mint! I was like you have x ray vision? I'm telling you they know! As he knew exactly what was in the box spot on!

Tracking, tracking, tracking, always put tracking information on all items. I do this with each item I send in the mail. I will always add the additional charge to the price of and item I sell and they always pay it for the security.

As the sender of that package, I can vouch for the quality of the packaging. Pre-paid label, tape over the edges. All verified addresses.

I am glad you got your purchase these things are very nerve racking. Sounds like it was a good thing you were keeping tabs on the tracking. Weather it was just an honest mistake on delivery or an attempted theft it was a good thing you were doing the tracking. I pay close attention to tracking on my purchases as well.

Not to single out ups as I've had issues with usps. As when my regular mail person is off or on vacation . They offer over time to other carriers . That said they run their regular route then cover the open route. Now when you're not getting your mail or are getting another person's mail something wrong. I asked who sorts the mail? As from my observations the mail carrier has a box of mail . It looks to be in order by street, court and numbers. We have a cluster box. To me its not rocket science to know what street, court, etc you're on and the boxes are marked with house numbers.
I agree make sure you use priority mail with tracking as I personally feel that's the best bet. As if any larceny is going to occur it's less likely using that means of shipping .

Any tracking on the items purchased? Print it out, take it to the manager at your post office and demand the items with an investigation.

I'm really up set now as I received an e mail this morning from a person stating that the postal machine was out of paper thus no receipt or tracking numbers . These are very important coins as they are various varieties and to replace would be a huge expense.

Where's green18? He was a UPS delivery driver. Lets ask him. Did you know or care what was in all the boxes you delivered? If so how did you know?
