I have a 46 wheat penny and the w in WE is higher than the e. Has anyone else seen this before on one of their wheat cents?
Photos would help what? I asked if anyone had seen or heard about this not to look at mine and give their opinion
Maybe no one here is interested in an attitude that is less than becoming the the answers you expect!
Is this third grade? I didn't post a pic and say "hey look at this". If you haven't heard or seen one then say no. Don't get panty-wad. Pictures are not going to help because even if i did have a camera good enough to clearly present a decent image, and you haven't seen it before then your answer would still be "why no, i haven't" If you had then your reply might have been more along the lines of "yeah they are common and worth a penny" Im still young so i may just be thinking too logical and literal. Sorry i confused you guy. Next time ill just hand you the answers to the pop quiz.
The reason the guys are asking for a picture, Ryan, is because it's much easier to help you with your question when one can see first hand what you're talking about. Interesting photo, but a larger file would be better yet. I think I can see what you're referring to but I'll let the Lincoln folks chime in as it's not my series.
So, instead of receiving answers (hopefully) based upon evidence you (should have) presented, you would rather the membership respond with a simple "yes" or "no" based upon a poorly asked question? Seriously... what help would this have been to you or anyone else reading this thread? With the understanding that you may still be young, from what you've shown thus far in this thread, your thinking seems to go against the logical obvious or even common sense. Perhaps it is you, young man, who needs not to get his panties in a wad, initially in response to children, over a simple and logical request.
Yes a simple yes or no because after ten replys the question still hasn't been answered. Obviously no one knows so maybe it was.
I kinda feel responsible for this so I want to apologize for my actions. I never meant for any problems to arise from it.
Yes. I pulled out 2 cents from a bag of Lincolns and the 2nd coin pulled had the "E" lower than the "W" ... mine was on a 1946 plain ... your is on a 1946 plain, so it must be a common thing with that date/mm ... sorry to rain on your parade.
