    Hi all,

I've been doing research - to no avail on the VAM-10 1888-S Morgan. It's not in the top 50 or HOT list - and I can't find any info on Vamview.

I'm assuming this is a low value variety, or at least no more special than an unattributed coin. Can anyone shed light on this particular coin?

It was actually a nice estate auction find. I just received the grade back and it came back as MS63, so I'm quite pleased. It really doesn't fit into my collection so I believe I'm going to sell/trade it and keep building my MS64 Peace set.

It should be back from grading in the next few days - but I just couldn't wait before posting pics. If there's interest, I'll post some pics once I get it back.

    Cheers!

You're right! It doesn't add anything to the value, and probably wouldn't be worth attributing. Personally, I don't understand why it is given an R-5 on the rarity scale.

By, the way, ANACS is the only service that will grade all VAM's, both Morgan and Peace.
