    I love Buffalo Nickels. IMO they're underrated especially the ones from the teen's and 20's with mint mark.

    One of my favourite coins. Yes. Over rated? I don't think so, many people collect these and even people who have no idea about coins usually have heard of this one.

    Here is a "sand cast" counterfeit, I just recently bought it. It has no "copy" or "replica" on the coin. It is a pretty good copy! There no "F" below the date. I wonder if more of these are being sold? Sorry for the poor pic, if you want a better one, let me know. It is a 1915 D. VF, and proper weight, size and it not magnetic. Actually the coin I received, does not match the image! The one I received is in much better condition!! Apparently the counterfeiters are using borrowed images, and then shipping the counterfeits.

    What does ANACS NOT grade?
    Currently, ANACS Does not grade & encapsulate the following:
    • Coins larger than 41mm (diameter) or thicker than 4.0mm.
      (Such as Panama-Pacific $50 commemoratives.)
    • Hobo Nickels (Altered buffalos – Great Depression Era).
    • Love Tokens.
    • Restrike coins (Call for more information).
    • Non-genuine coins.
    • Paper money.
