I would've said 64-65, but guess I'm almost a day late and a dollar short. Nice coin.
Personally, I'm unsure why anyone would crack out a GSA coin? I prefer them in the original holders. I'm sure many have been broke out over the years.

I have several that remain in the GSA holders, but I wanted to see how this one would do with just the GSA designation on the standard PCGS label/slab. After receiving it, you're right... I prefer the whole GSA holder. Live and learn I guess.

That is a bummer. I would prefer it in the GSA holder as well. I wish PCGS had been smart like NGC and kept it in it's original slab and just put a sticker on it. Just having the letter GSA on a PCGS slab feels lacking. But it's still a very beautiful coin.

PCGS doesn't label the GSA slabs like NGC does, do they?

Nope, I don't believe they do. I heard yesterday that NGC just graded an 84-cc GSA in the black holder as a 68. Wow that's a pricey coin, and I think is the highest grade to date in a GSA holder.

Hmmm. Not sure I like those. I have a couple with the NGC straps on in original boxes. I like to keep them original. And....I just won a 1880-cc with '78 reverse in GSA. I'm waiting for that one still.
    -68 in a GSA......very nice!

correct... superzim, they do NOT fit back in the GSA box, as the NGC ones do. I am not a fan, and thats the reason I decided to have them crack out my coin in the original post, and do a regular label/slab with the GSA designator.

Congrats on the 80 78REV. That one has still avoided me. One day, it to, shal be mine! lol

    Bronco,
I'm thinking I got a decent deal. Been looking for one (GSA, slabbed or ms raw) for a while at the right price. And it's in my saved searches on eBay.
I had a GSA come up a few days ago with a BIN for $550. I hesitated for a couple minutes. But then pulled the trigger. Looks like a decent coin.
