This is a coin that I found in his stash of coins after he passed that I had inherited and wouldn't sell it for $10,000,000.
Coin is a purplish orange both sides that was found in his drawer where he kept his state quarters for his kids/grandkids. 001.jpg 002.jpg

Post a coin that has a special meaning to you and is priceless for no other reason.

this Slovakia coin got me hooked on coins. To be more specific I then started the topical/themed "coins with insects" coin collection. I would not sell this coin at any cost...

this next coin is from France. I hunted 10 long years for it on Ebay and then I finally bought it. when it came it the mail that day 2 more came up on Ebay...I was like WTH. I still to this day really like the depth this coin has.

I've posted this coin before, but here's one of the few mementos I have of my Dad, besides his "Y" chromosome...

The first coin is Slovak Republic, not San Marino. The reverse says "People's Park Little Tatra [mountains]". But the insects (lightning bugs?) are qwell.
