I don't think it's that big a deal. The dollars aren't the reason this set is cool, anyway. Don't be too angry at her. :)

The horses are loading in the gate! My grandfather would call these sets, "Money on a hoof."

They made it into the "scheduled for grading" phase Friday just before closing time. I wonder if anyone paid the $65 per coin for express instead of the modern rate of $20 so they could get them in first?

Wait until the dollar varieties become more well-known. At present, just a handful of experts know about them. One is, the baby has a doubled-thumb. Another is, it has ears that make it look like Bugs Bunny. A third is, it has wavy hairs growing out of it's nostrils (this is a variant of the wavy steps error, it's called the wavy nostrils error).

Yeah Spock what's with all the spots on some of these dimes? Looks like dwiz did OK but in that other thread "Don't get your hopes up" WTF is that for what the flippers I mean dealers are trying real hard to get the public to think are "the coins of the century?" Those other ones look like the defects of the decade. :D

I opened the capsules and gave mine a blast of air, the coins had a lot of dust or whatever on them before I took the photos (yes inside the capsules)

Interesting. You had some of the flippers in that thread thinking they're watching their lives passing before their eyes. :D
