As long as there is opportunity for money to be made, folks will find a way to maximize their position......

I received my shipping confirmation this evening for the one set ordered. The box will be filled with other hefty goodies to include a Kisatchie five-ounce puck, a Kisatchie S-quarter roll and an uncirculated set.

The fact that these sets haven't sold out after two full days suggest to me that appreciation potential is vastly limited. I'm sticking with my single set.

One of the things keeping me from buying more is the fact that I don't want to wait till August to get them. If all 75k were available now I would have ordered more.

Big mistake, especially when the dimes are practically free. Every modern regular U.S. issue with 100k or less mintage in the last 20 years has done very well, regardless of how long it took to sell out.

As recently as a few months ago the $1 Native American coin and currency set showed as available, then back ordered, etc for quite some time before it was removed from the site. And then the mint cancelled some orders because they took orders for product that didn't exist. So I wouldn't trust the mints online system as being totally accurate on stock status availability.

American Eagle Drone Drop Service arrived at 10:05am my time zone.

Lower left corner of package hit a 20ft tall Saguaro Cactus.
Otherwise box feels very tight & well packed.

Got home from work at 2:10 CDT and delivered at 2:25 CDT. Waiting until later tonight to open the box and see the quality of these bad boys.

Wife left the house for about an hour to get her mother a Mother's Day card. Guess when UPS tried to deliver? Dang, have to wait one more day. Wife promised to stay hope all day tomorrow.

Second day's sales stand at 63,882. It should sell out by next Monday or Tuesday.

I cracked open the box today after work. I am not a very good coin photographer so I won't embarrass myself with pictures. I was actually very happy with the quality of the coins. No problems that I could see. I was sending out some coins to PCGS today already so I decided to send out 4 sets to PCGS and I kept one raw. I called PCGS and they said just send it in the OGP. I had to do a paper submission form (not the online form which I would of preferred). I just put on the first line 4 2015 March of Dime 3 coin sets. I asked if they would send back the OGP and he said just put the request on the form. Kinda sounded they were just figuring out the procedure on this set. PCGS should have the coins by Monday. I will post the results in a few weeks.

  16. I wonder if they will give the dollars the special MOD set label or not given that you opened the box.

I really don't even know if they are doing any special labels. I don't even know if they even know to tell you the truth. He just said they had to be shipped in the OGP. I asked him if the box had to be sealed and he said no. He did say select Modern and Other on the label and it's $16 per coin. May be someone else can try calling on Monday to get some more answers.

They were so unhelpful and vague in their instructions, I just went with NGC. Besides, as far as I can tell with moderns, NGC brings just as good of prices, if not better. It's only with classic coins where the PCGS resale value wins big.

I had a coupon for 8 regular submissions with PCGS for renewing my membership. If I wasn't sending in those other coins already I probably would of just went with NGC also.

  20. My fiance opened the box not knowing what it was bc it didn't say us mint on the shipping box. Does this matter when sending to grade for special label?
