Help with Barack Obama silver coins??

Hello, I am not a collector, but am hoping you can help me. I came across this Barack Obama silver coin and cannot find another one online exactly like it. I was hoping someone could tell me a little about it and if it's worth anything at all. Thank you all in advance for your help!

Not a coin, a medal of some kind

Possibly silver- it should be marked on the side

I'm with rooman; I'm afraid I have nothing positive to contribute to this conversation except that if it's silver I'd sell it as close to spot as quickly as possible.

 

I'd melt it down into a bar

 

Check the rim of the coin to see if there are any silver markings. If there isn't, dispose of it how ever you please and be creative!

Thanks everyone, after I searched Barrack Obama silver medal on Ebay, I actually found it. It's worth about $8, better than nothing!

 

You'll certainly get some feedback on this statement. Let's say that "they're getting about $8 on eBay".
