I am not a professional, so this is my personal list of Key and Semi Key Morgans. Some are on the list because they are tough to find in higher grades (MS60+). Some of these are debatable but again, just my opinion. S Morgans seem to have lower mintages and tougher to find.

Any and all CC - - always in demand but the 1889 CC is king

Thanks for this list..... oh I definitely know that CC are king.... I sold a handful of them (GSAs too) like hot cakes.

I used to keep my want list in my wallet and enjoyed crossing the coins off the list. I have all my Morgans (except 1895) and now thinking about what's next. I could upgrade my lower grade Morgans but that would be huge money. Or I can look at something else. I'll take pics of some of my Keys, wish they were all high grade! My 1893 S is F15 but looks a bit nicer.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

If you have an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), the Notes app is a great place to manage your want list. My kid is an Android guy, and he tells me there's no built-in equivalent app. I wouldn't know. But there are other add-ons regardless. What I like about it is my want list is "everywhere" - all devices auto-update whenever it gets changed on one device, even my Mac Mini is part of the gang.

Thanks. I agree and do have them on my iPhone but it was kind of fun scratching off the dates - - the actual list was hand written on an index card and had been in my wallet(s) since 1982. I scratched the final date off two weeks ago.

After looking at a lot of 1893-S Morgans I settle on this one for its eye appeal. I just liked it. 1893-S.jpg Could be a tad better that F-15 but this was the last "Key" Morgan I needed.
