We'll find something to gripe about, we always do.....that's one of the privileges that comes with being a numismatist.

Bob: "I can't stand all these lousy modern coins! What does the Mint think, that we're all just going to buy every piece of junk they throw our way?"

Stan: "I know, it's just ridiculous! How many did you buy?"

Bob: "The maximum household limit of course. You?"

Stan: "Same here...gonna make a bunch of money on the secondary market. I hope they stop producing these limited mintage offerings. It's really unfair to all the people who can't order in time and have to buy from the greedy secondary market profiteers".

    Pardon the satire :)

Ever wonder why some just have to rain on your parade, even when proven profits exist? No matter how wrong they are they spread their poop all over the place. Must have something to do with a bad childhood.

March of dime eBay average moves further to $105.00 a set. But the Native American dollar set is much better at $55.00. And the Kennedy two coins clad set at $16.50.

Generally seems to be the same posters over and over. We get it you have no interest in the set. Now that you've said your piece on it why not move on to another thread that does interest you? Unless of course you have absolutely nothing better to do with your life than monitor these threads and post negatively any chance you get. Or perhaps your just salty you've potentially missed out.

In more positive news my order shows delivery expected for Friday really impressed with the mints quickness on this as I chose the cheapest $4.95 shipping option.

First order shows delivery tomorrow, Thursday, by UPS. Second shows left Memphis to my PO Box and expected tomorrow also. Will be interesting to see if it gets out of the back of the sorting part of the bldg as they are routinely very bad about saying it has left but never shows up until the next day even though they are in the same bldg 20-30 feet away from the front public area.

What can I say, I had a really smooth and quick transition. Placed the order within second and received my email at 12:01. Still shows processing.

Mine will be at NGC tomorrow, Thursday the 7th. Hope they get them back to me quickly.

  12. It seems like the majority of people who ordered 5 very early have had their sets shipped. Yours should be on their way soon too.

I would expect so. I just don't understand why some people's orders shipped first. I see it impossible to order faster than I did.

It's because they had most of them boxed up ahead of time, 5 sets per box, in anticipation of the bulk buyers.

Not sure I agree with that method, but it makes somewhat sense I guess.

Unfortunately, it will never be stopped. As one of the big big dealers told me during the gold Kennedy mess in Chicago last year, they use hundred of friends, friends of friends, family members, etc to order the household max and sell them to their company. There is no way the mint can know who is doing what.
