Obverse with 3 die chips, one on each side of the roof and one in the left corn stalks. Obverse die crack and chip at the base of the bust. Got this in my change at a local eatery. There is also something going on with the thickness of the left side of roof as opposed to the right side, any ideas??
besides the cud in the r in america and the huge scratch yea nothing wrong besides its weak die strike
Not a scratch, I stapled in a puppy hair, oops. Unless you are talking about the bag mark on the cheek.
Wow you waste no time sticking your coins in 2x2's! You carry them in your pocket or something? Nice find.
I pretty much go through any pocket change each day so as not to get overwhelmed by filling up my one gallon pickle jar like I used to. "Too much time on my hands". (Styx)
That's funny - I hate when that happens, especially when you are taping a package to be sent and then find pet hair under the tape - LOL!!
Of the 10 or so I've found in circulation 6 had errors. So I'm crossing my fingers on my bag purchases. I'll be in touch here once they come in and I've had some time to go through them.
Go to eBay and see the 2015 homestead errors...all Philly. one guy wants $200.00!!!! Wexler approved. Got to get a bag of those
Yes, I forgot to mention all Philly errors I found. Not had much luck with errors in general from Denver.
I found a P mint mark with a missing roof tile and a floating tile above it. I'm kinda new at this, so how do i send you a photo?
So far all of the ones I'm finding in the bags are relegated to the window panes, minor, but all doubled dies. Die crack and chip over the right side of the roof and some strange indentation along both sides of the roof which may be pre die crack depressions. So far 16 of 40 are doubled dies.
Now you went and done it Tommy-I gotta get a bag of P homestead. 16 out of 40 doubled dies huh. And I can't find one!!! pictues, pictures thx
