A matched set! Beautifully toned 1950-D and 1950-S Lincolns that came out of the same cardboard Mint Set (which explains why they look so similar). I bought both of these coins, raw, for $8.29 total -- so I suppose they were about $4.14 each, a relative bargain. The 1950-D graded MS66RB and the 1950-S graded MS66BN at PCGS. I personally think the 1950-D is a bit cleaner than the 1950-S and should have graded 1 point higher, but I'm not complaining.
Finally got around to imaging my coins from CSNS. I spent most of the show taking pictures of people's coins, which earned me my spending money. Picked up a well-struck 1921 Peace dollar (VAM 1K2) in MS62, and a nice, original 86-S VAM 2 in MS63+. The 1733 8 Reales klippe I bought a week earlier is on the dark side forum.
You must have a dang wishing well FULL of these things. Ive been checking my LCS' mint and proof sets for anything even close in ANY denomination with some toning. Nada.
And here is my newest acquisition. Again I had to work with my wonderful dealer buddy Mike @ToughCOINS to acquire it, but she was well worth the effort and money for such a scarce piece in the grade she is in. PCGS liked her at an AU-53 and I am quite happy with that grade.
Both of these arrived today. This German 5 Mark came all the way from Portugal. It arrived much sooner than I thought it would. I really like all the empty space in the fields on the reverse side, and this was MUCH cheaper than a no stars half dime is. This Jefferson has some crazy colors. NT/AT? I don't know, but it sure is nice to look at.
