Looks like $60 with 5 mins to go.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/371062747816?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1426.l2649
Well, $60 for that one, wonder how the subsequent ones will do. Will we see them go up, or down? Normally, 'new' discoveries go 'big' at first, but I really guess we'll have to see what happens when graded/slabbed examples hit the streets.
You beat me to it. I completely agree with you...based on the single squeeze technique used today...this is a major doubled die.
This is certainly a nicer conversation than the other forum site. It's been 2 months since the discovery; yes? I've only seen 2 on Ebay, the 2nd closes tonight. Where are they? Why only one seller?
Very tough crowd, there! Is it my imagination, or is the reverse image the exact same as used for the one that sold last month? I'd be concerned about how many more 'spots' this one has. Could turn out to be problems down the road. I'd consider spending the current bid, but that would have to be for a spotless example.
If your into collecting errors & doubled dies it is a big deal & I have this & the others mentioned so it is not a prank these coins are vary rare & might only show up in one region of the country. These are not machine doubling & those are worthless. This doubling is from the master to the working die some get thru the process & out the mint. I have just discovered 2 possible new ddo"s for 2015 with no date distortion but little doubling in the liberty & motto that i use a 60 power eyeglass to see without it I would have never found them. Go to doubleddie its very informative on the what is what & what is not.

Just to clear this up, this is not master die doubling. It is on a single working die. If it was master die doubling, around half of the coins minted would show this.
Because I'm not sure. As in it's not obvious or clearly doubled. The photos are also magnified. Therefore the OP is obviously pulling a joke. I bet his next joke is that he's willing to take 50 bucks for it.
