    and lastly [for now}:

    1795 O-113a R-4 A/E
    1795
    O-113a
    R-4

A in STATES cut over E.

I think this is a neat variety, apparently engraved by someone who either couldn't speel or had too much to drink the night before.

Yes, it is an NGC VG Details, "Improperly Cleaned" and has a bit of a shine to it.
However, for about an AG price, I couldn't let it go.

One of my favorite 1795 varieties.

    Pardon my crummy pictures.

Not this bright, but hey, it is a 1795!

I must have been in a hurry when I took the image.
It's out of focus a bit.
And I don't know the Overton number.

    Thanks.
Since I got it for my type set I assume it's one of the more common die pairs.

yes, it is an R-4, as are most of the die marriages.

    PCGS?
    VF?

Mine is a "small head" variety which you can tell by the extra line under the bust truncation. I have it down as O-126a but am not completely sure about that.

It is a 126 but I don't see the die crack at E-1 on the reverse that would make it the "a" die state. It may be there and just not show on your pic. Both die states are rated as high R-4.

    Not my coin....126a
