Another good day at the office

    Was at the coffee shop again today and found 3 keepers. Found myself a 1919 wheat, 1944-D wheat and a beautiful 1968-D memorial. Love searching through the register and seeing those wheaties staring back at me!

    If you work a cash register, you HAVE to be prepared.

    I remember late '80's, a TON of NEW '69 Series notes hit circulation. There were more than I could take / keep.

    I read later that same year, that there WAS still $122 million in Red Seal $C-Notes (probably long since destroyed), but you get the point...

    We have two registers and I never leave without looking through both! Only thing I have found in the paper is some unique serial numbers that I liked. Coins... I find many wheats, a silver quarter and a silver half. Otherwise I CRW for other finds.

    Watch for wheeties that don't sell on the fee bay that I through in the Coin star all the time..nice find...
