If you are going to be serving liquor along with the coins, I think you may need an additional license.
PLEASE! PM me the info, I tried to search on the web and haven't been able to find the application. Many thanks
You lookin' for Galactic or Intergalactic? The latter is the easier one to find. But you need the "dark web", very very dark.
I suggest you give it a shot on eBay for six months and see if you LIKE the business. No license needed. PM me and I can show you how to cut way down on postage. And you can be a coin dealer on Coin Talk too, and when you ask for guidance, 50 people will chime in. If you are in Minnesota or Ohio and probably some other states, you don't want to set up at coin shows or flea markets just yet. ============= You might tell us how you plan to obtain material to resell, as that is the KEY to your success.
The OP's name suggests modern mint products are what he sells, and a quick scan of his posts (and linked established ebay account) seems to confirm this. It also shows NY to be where he resides. While we certainly get enough of them, I don'tbelieve his question to have anything to do with how to become a seller, but only how to become an actual business.
Yes, I agree, for specific who, when, where. But without a general plan of how to source material, the enterprise will never get off the ground.
Didn't notice the OP had an eBay Store up and running. I guess then the question becomes, how will he compete with Apmex and Provident?
Everyone should proof read their own posts before submitting. At least go back and edit them afterwards, especially for spelling or word omission. This thread needs a little help with both. :>)
I was wondering how long it would take for somebody to notice. In another thread I said my profession was to proofread dictioneries for spelling. It took about a day before I received a comment. :>)
LOL, you mean dictionaries, right? I was a proofreader once upon a time. I made too many things disappear and they changed my job title to poofreader.
