You have a 'issues' DDR Jeff Nickel in UNC details (MS-63?), which would have ordinarily sold for $50-$75 or more....but you paid $10.00 ? Is that correct?? Nickels are not my area of familiarity...(Scotts1 POST #60)
Interesting story here, actually. One of the dealers at a local coin show had this in a box of slabbed coins. I asked him about the doubled die because I didn't know where to look for it. Turns out he missed the 'DDR' on the slab and thought it was a regular nickel but honored the price.
Mikey Zee,no matter what issue's that IHC has,it's in a lot better condition than most of my incomplete IHC's. But I suppose living in Wales (uk),the availability can be a little bit difficult.
I agree except I think it may be ''Misaligned Die" instead. Not a problem coin but a cool error, a problem coin is a coin that was damaged or had it's surfaces altered in any way after it left the mint.
In my experience, TruView photos enhance toning, so they don't always represent the coin as it would appear in hand. I was just wondering if the coin was darker than the photo.
