Very nice Mr.X, its a winner.are you still below zero, its all most summer here, when its not raining.
Great Eng, 'cause they just forecast rain and snow of up to two inches of accumulation here in New York..Bah Humbug!!! LOL
Hey Noob ... I took a quick spin through that link-article and tried to find the diagrams that best supported our two cool examples (I think I nailed it, but feel free to disagree, my friend) stevex6's Class II - Group "O" Noob's Class III - Group "L" Hey, maybe I'll try to collect all of the types?!! (ummm, or not!!) Cheers, brother
Ahahaha ... man, I laughed out loud when I read through that linked-article and stumbled across the description of my awesome example (Series Z, which encompasses Class II Groups N and "O" ... that's my coin's group) => well obviously, I never read this out-loud to my poor unsuspecting coin (*sigh*) ... yah, I've changed my mind => that article is crap!! (just jokes) Oh, Noob => they didn't bad-mouth your coin-type, my friend (cheers)
Hmmm, stylized Celtic coins look 'suspiciously' like Mayan glyphs.....Hah, I knew it, some of my Irish ancestors made it to the new world before Columbus or the Vikings LOL
You are correct Class III Group L. Awesome coins eh, I would love to see one with the complete design. Does one exist, or is it like the Indian Drachms where you need like 30 coins to piece together the whole design?
Hopefully there's a couple more examples out there waiting to be posted? (there are a few examples on vcoins)
Well, this example is certainly pretty nice, but it's also twice as much as I paid for my sweet pony ... http://www.vcoins.com/en/stores/gb_...coriosolites_trib__stater/575346/Default.aspx
True..but $400 could get you this one. Which is not bad! http://www.vcoins.com/en/stores/anc...ites_billon_stater__horse/480108/Default.aspx
Nice ... the reverse on your link's example is actually quite similar to my coin's reverse (the obverse on your link's example is obviously far better than my sweet coin's misunderstood obverse) Note => I'm totally happy with My Lil' Pony Have a great Saturday
So, the turkey is 30 minutes away from being ready ... => I poured 1/2 cup of orange brandy and 2 cups of maple syrup over my "bacon-wrapped" turkey ......... that was 3 hours ago ... after 3 hours of occasional turkey-basting, it is smellin' awesome!! (15 mins to go!!) => gravy on deck => peppers, walnuts, dried-cherries are all simmering with the stuffing (yah, it's outside-the-bird-stuffing => don't judge me => it's souped-up!!) => carrots that are now nestled in butter and brown-sugar are also simmering => mashed spuds are awaiting that nasty orange-brandy and syrup gravy!! ==>> Happy Easter Dinner, my favourite coiners!! I love you guys!! cheers (and *burp*)
Turkey dinner for Easter? Well, I guess. Why not? We generally have ham (why? I dunno). But this year, we're just not planning anything special what with the wife's medical problems (don't feel bad. It is what it is). Maybe some frozen burritos? And Doritos. Yum. BTW, it sounds yummy little brother. Who's cookin'? you or the little misses?
Was a managers special cause it was close to expiring, 4 pounds for $3.25. Regular price was $10.74. Plus I eat alot of pork. Bought a pot roast for $3, same special, made it last 3 days this past week. So I am burned out with pigs, lol. Told you I am cheap. More $ for coins!!
Two christmases ago I had sauerbraten instead of ham or turkey. Used a cow's tongue I got cheap at a mexican market. Love cow's tongue. Was just my mom and I and her idea. We dont follow traditions. Too mainstream!
