"I wonder if someone just decided to put it back in circulation to make someone's day more fun."
There was a thing a few years ago when (dealers?) would put coins into circulation. It is possible that this was one of those coins.

Been out of it for a while. Was organizing my collection and kind of got bit by the bug again lol.

10 dollars in cents (customer wrapped)
    9 wheat cents
    4 Canadian
    1 dime

26 dollars in nickels (customer wrapped)
One buffalo (see picture, pretty cool!)
6 pre 1960s (I keep them for whatever reason)

When people CRH, do you organize by dates that have varieties? For example, when I search cents, I keep aside all the dates that are included in the cherrypickers guide, and then after I variety hunt. Curious if anyone does it this way. Maybe it's silly to even try, since I've never been successful.

    Is this a die break?

50 dollars in Quarters (CWR) - nothing. Filled a couple holes in my state park quarters.
50 dollars in dimes (CWR) - 2 silver. And, the die break(?) Pictured above. Poor Roosevelt had a bad hair day!

Picked up some coins at the bank today, but it looks like all my dimes are brand new 2022Ps.

I posted them in the WTS thread in case anyone likes to variety hunt (for Face Value + shipping).

Here is the thread if that is something of interest to you - https://www.cointalk.com/threads/2022-p-dime-rolls.403262/ .

Went to BofA and got 5 customer wrapped rolls of nickels. One had a collection dump. (15!) Buffalos, 3 war nickels, and a few better dates. Newest coin in the roll was a 64. Including this 26-S which I guess and hope is authentic!

Woohoo! Nothing like being in the right place at the right time! I'd have to go back and ask whether the same person dumped any rolls of other denominations...

Yes I agree, go back and buy as many CWR as they'll sell you, of any denomination.

    26-S looks good. That's a monster.
Let's see the photo of the Hawaii S.
In my last 2 rolls of quarters I had 3 looks at a W. (0-3)
I did replace my Delaware album coin. Strange to get a good conditioned one
so many years later. (Luster, less nicks, etc.)

Not a great find, but it’s my first West Point quarter find. It’s got a ring on the obverse where it looks like another coins was laying on top of it. 90046818-FC6A-4FE5-A6F1-93D0B4422148.jpeg 2E932C8D-C689-44AE-BFF4-10025FDA3203.jpeg

IDK what that white ring is. I doubt it is from a coin.
It might come off with acetone.
A coin that size would be a nickel and there is no reason for it to
leave a residue unless chemicals were involved. If it's just a stain, it might
come off in distilled water or acetone.

I usually don't get too excited about shield cents, but I was surprised to see this proof reverse, and stunned when I saw the 'W' (!) Didn't even know these existed. From what I can gather it was only available one year.
