Does anyone know of any coin clubs located in Greenville, North Carolina? I just moved here and would like to find one. Thanks.

Hey brother, I'm afraid I don't know of any, but when you get a chance, let me know how the move went.

Welcome to NC. I have lived here all my life, but I am in the middle of the state, so I don't know about coin clubs over in that area.

Great idea. Thanks Paddy. I will check later on. I know that there are coin shows held here but haven't heard about any local clubs.

    Hey Joe,

    You have a couple options.

You can drive about 1.5 hours east to Beaufort and join our club. You can go 1.5 hours south to Jacksonville for their club, or an additional 30 minutes to the Wilmington club.

You also have easy access to the Raleigh club within the same distance.

Raleigh is the biggest and puts on a heck of a show in the summer for a club show. Probably the best in the state actually.

There is currently no coin club in Greenville so why not start one? If you want some help come on down to the 'Best little coin club between Baltimore and Orlando' in Wilmington...on the coast. We're having a forty-one table coin show coming up on April 11 & 12. If you want to get on our mailing list contact uffda28411@yahoo.com.

Thanks guys. I saw the clubs down in Jacksonville and new bern. I don't know if the Beaufort one is associated with the one in new bern or separate. I may head down to your show in Wilmington if I'm not on call that weekend. I cover the hospital in new Bern so I may join that club down there. Thanks for the info.

There is no club in New Bern Joe. It was disbanded a while ago and we sort of merged with Beaufort.

I love in Cleveland, Georgia and have the same problem with finding a coin club to Join. It seems the only one I can find is the Blue Ridge Numismatic Association and the Georgia Numismatic Association. They are large clubs and only meet at the shows that they sponsor.

The coin shop on Market Street is the only one in Wilmington. There ARE a few vest-pocket dealers in the area who attend the Lower Cape Fear Coin Club meetings on the second Wednesday of every month. Come on down to the Carolina BBQ Restaurant on South College Road for our 6:00 pm meetings.

I'm excited about the show during the Azalea Festival. Can't wait to drop on down and see what Wilmington has to offer.
