Fake Capped Bust 25C

    This fake is so bad, I'm not even sure what it's supposed to be. Even if they had used a legitimate date from this series (large capped bust quarters ended 10 years earlier in 1828), it still would look like a bad fake. Seems like it might be a legit seller from a cursory glance at the profile and other auctions. I sent them a message to take it down.

    Listing pulled states dealer posted it wrong.... yeah left out 100% FAKE in the listing .

    Hey it's only one little word . Wonder if it had a reeded edge , but that is one bad fake . Looks like those gold wrapped chocolate coins .
