This was the first thing I bought got coin collecting, I just found out that it may have a DDO. What do you think?

Look at designer initials and neck/chin area

    Looks way better in hand.

Can you post a pic of the whole coin? It might help.

I do not know. If they are on the case they are on the inside side of it. It is in it's original government packaging. It looks like scratched plastic though, not scratch metal. Is there anyway to tell if it is on the holder or coin?

What do you think, DDO or not?

I think it is a good sign when people are not saying "MD" instantly when I post the photo.

:woot:You guys on here are too technical lol. Where you would post a Philippine's coin from when it was owned by the U.S. It says "United States of America" on the coin. Would you post it in World Coins or U.S. Coin Forum?
They should have one big forum labeled "Coins and Stuff" that you can post anything on.

Also, I do not know why it rotated. I'm guying that the mint worker screwed up on putting the coins in the right angle, probably in a rush. The half is not the only one like that.

I think we should have just one forum, no others........"Anything". That way people can learn how to wash laundry, bathe pets, write poetry, etc. Who needs all this segregated crap?

I could see that happening. You would have a guy posting a nice $30,000 MS-62 Groberight Dollar he just bought and right above it a thread called. "Help! My Garbage Disposal is Clogged!!"

I have found many similar but not this exact coin. Annoying thing is that everytime I think I get a match I find out it is not the exactly same as mine for some little detail.

I think the scratch is on the inside of the holder, It looks like the mint did a bad job storing the cases before coins were put in them.

Any ideas on what it is worth??? I paid $9 for it, It was the first coin I ever bought (never going to sell it for that reason).

Well without knowing exactly, if you have a Cherrypickers guide you can see if you can verify which one it is, Coneca has some information. I would say ungraded and noncameo....anywhere from $30 on up??

That's $21 more than I paid for the whole set! I'm happy with that.

Please check into it, it could be worth WAY more.
