Picked up a few rolls of quarters from the bank, sorted and now reviewing my ATB State Quarters. It could be me, my tired eyes, my lighting that I can't seem to adjust to my exact liking, or my cheap $4 magnifying glass that I purchased from Walmart but I think that I am seeing a doubling on quite a few of the America the Beautiful State Quarters. Looking at an almost flat angle I keep thinking I am seeing a vertical double on the engraved writing on the outer ring. Some stronger than others and a few with none what so ever. But majority of the quarters are having this. Like I said....it is probably is just my eyes and lighting. I am new to this so i am still trying to get the feel for the right angles and lighting positions. Just wondering if anyone else has came across this or if it a normal thing for these quarters...or like I said, just my eyes.
