Just got these back from PCGS today. Inherited the seated dime, and paid $5 on ebay for the Merc. $61 total investment for both after grading. I am happy.
Still in the flip Couple new pics of my 91-S DPL. Still think it's better than a 62 This was taken about a foot away, reflection of my fingers
Used an high ISO on these so the photo quality ain't the greatest, but you guys get the idea.........
Hex they look great to me !! Mintstage came out better than Proof do. Unless you have a big setup with a shadow box. Proof photos tend to mirror the background in coin.
They do have a loop for cellphone cameras eBay has them. IPhones have to most they start at $15.00 and more. Samsung too.
A agree with Mat's statement. That 1888 is one nice looking coin for just a MS62 grade. I personally would push that into the 63 category.
Working on a date set. I needed this one. It is an N-10 R.3 I will always hear the Rudolph Reindeer song whenever I look at it.
Picked this fun little set up. I had just picked out this same set from Don Bailey's site, albeit pieced together from individual coins rather than the complete packaging, when this one jumped out at me on eBay. I have always loved the Pillar Dollar and Mexican coins in general, and this just seemed like a fun purchase and a way to put back a little silver on the side. Can't wait to see these in hand.
