Correct again. These things dont go cheaply anymore, and with the CAC green bean on them, that seems to add abit as well.
Found one that had the look I wanted at a price I liked. These tend to come with problematic planchets and highly variable strike. Better planchet than many with very few streaks and most not really visible to the naked eye. One small planchet flaw at reverse K3 above the S. Better strike than many I've seen at higher grades. Anyway, this one goes in the Type Set as an example of a Hard Times Token.
Found another toned commemorative. This one is in a pcgs holder with a bean. The wine said, it must go for pcgs price guide (110) or else.... and I own it for 92.22....
With most of these commemorative halves in MS and most of them white, I like mine looking different. Toned or circulated. And this one has a nice circulation look!
