An interesting idea . I would like to see some of these up close.

I may buy the Antimony just because I like its name.

What these guys are trying to do is produce standard-size coins made from as many different metals and elements from the Periodic Table of the elements as they can.

So far they have 53 coins (not including varities)

Isn't antimony a toxic heavy metal similar to lead? I know they use it regularly in pewter, and that it's not AS BAD as lead, but I thought it was still bad.

I believe that any coin that is toxic or reactive is encased in resin for protection. I read somewhere on the site as well a list of the metals & elements stability & reactivity when in its coined form.

are they radioactive? Can they survive an atomic blast?

Everything is radioactive & anything could survive an atomic blast depending on proximity & protection at the time.

Very expensive, because you have to pay for the refrigeration unit and its shipping as well.
