Greetings! I am happy to say I am the soon to be owner of this nice Siliqua. This is a Pre-Reform Siliqua of Constantius II (not a nice fellow), struck at Constantinople between 351-355 CE Weight -3.18 Grams To top it off I found this nice Post-Reform Siliqua that I will be adding to the list. Please feel free to comment and post your Pre-Reform Siliqua. Thanks.
Again, Magnus => those are both sweet scores ... Ummm sadly, I only have "1" measly Siliqua example ... Hopefully I'm allowed to post 'er? ... Hi (I'm Arcadius)
Very Nice Dougsmit! Whats the weight for that beauty? On another note, I have been looking all day and cannot find a reason why Constantius II debased the Siliqua by a third of its weight. Was there an economic crisis in the 350's?
wait...did you buys two more!? isn't that like 5 recently?! man, you don't fool around when it comes to these things. they both great lookin' coin! i still don't have one, i did shop recently....but just didn't connect.
An intense dislike that is not entirely unjustified. That "dynasty" produced two of the worst Emperors of the Empire.
