    Yah, this 2nd example is way out of stevex6's scope ... but *whateva* (it has a cool animal on it, so => yup, it's a total winner!!)

    :woot:

    I fell in love with this sweet coin as soon as I saw it .... it almost looks like some sort of primitive cave-drawing (I think that it is very, very cool)

    => ummm, does anybody else like this new addition?

    Please post anything (even Grad-photos, if it'll make ya happy ... happy is good!!)

    Cheers, gang (man, I'm having a ball collecting ancient-coins with you guys-n-gals)

    cheers.gif

    ... oh, and please don't take the "swastika" personally (at this point in time, I'm fairly sure that it wasn't a negative symbol)

    => oh, and ya gotta love the bonus-snake, eh? (cha-chinnng lil' bonus-snake!!)

    => yah, as Warren and Doug often state => rarity is a bit of "murky zone" (well, I guess the word "murky" is kinda my lack of a better word) ...

    Ummm, I found a few examples in the CNG archives and on other sites, but yah, I guess there aren't too many of these sweet examples floatin' around ... cool, eh?

    => oh, and thanks for the response and the coinpliment (I have noticed that you have also been buying-up some awesome examples)

    => cheers, my coin-friend!!

    On ancient coins the swastika was a symbol that was a sign of good fortune and well being!

    I like it. At 19 mm it is large enough for my old eyes without the aid of magnification. I especially enjoy this kind of coin when they are high grade like your example.

    Oh, and thanks gang => Collect89, I agree that this coin is "friendly-size" so we don't need a 16 x loupe!!

    zumbly Ha'ina 'ia mai ana ka puana

    Very cool and unusual! Not sure if the obverse says Flintstones to me, but at the very least its reminiscent of those Stone Age dioramas you'd find in a museum.
