Not a common find. Have you found a 1967 Canada yet, Soren? They're unique for the series. I enjoy coming across them. Cents are a great way for a young numismatist like yoursef to enjoy and start learning about the hobby. I interpreted harris comment to be a rude way of saying that he would not be interested in such a coin and that you've done a great job identifying it, don't worry about it. You'll find a lot of supportive and knowledgeable folks on this forum.
When you find something different like that it is always fun to research it. Who's the bust, who's the artist who's initials are on it. When and why this type was made. I have found lots of Canadian coins through the years and as far as I know, I have kept every one. It doesn't have to be special in everyone's eyes, just yours. I would keep it.
I agree. I keep all of the Canadian coins that I find. I think they're pretty neat. I also like any coin that is over 50 years old.
