    Yah, I've already done favourite tune and favourite movie, so I guess it's time to see what you ancient coin collectors "eat-n-drink" ...

    => oh, and please post your current favourite-coin (just to keep us honest) ...

    yah, and I realize that daily-tastes always change, so I'm merely lookin' for "today's favourites"

    Fine, I'll go first ... hmmm, well today's favourite is:

    Breakfast => bacon & tomato sandwich (with an egg gushing-out the sides)

    Lunch => beer and a bacon cheese-burger(s)

    Dinner => huh, apparently I'm in a sushi/sashimi mood tonight (*sigh* => yah, like I can get that up here, eh?!!?) ... well, maybe pickerel-sushi?

    Oh yah ... and here is today's favourite stevex6-coin ...

    Achaean League.JPG

    Yah okay fine, I realize this may be a fairly weak thread, but man, I am "really fricken hungry"!!

    Cheers, gang

    As far as food goes, I'll take a bacon cheeseburger. As the saying goes, I didn't climb to the top of the food chain to eat grass. :)

    Neither of my choices are expensive because few people agree with my choices. My favorite lunch is a Taco Bell Beefy Fritos Burrito and Senior drink (totaling $1 + 5 cents tax). When I'm feeling extra hungry, I go to Wendy's for a Crispy Chicken sandwich (99cents + 5 cents tax), Senior drink and promotional size charity frosty (you buy a tag good for a year for $1 - last year I had at least 50). I'm not into fine dining.

    My Favorite coin is still that old Septimius VICTOR IVST AVG I have had since 1963 but the recent coin giving it a bit of competition is this Magnentius flipover double strike where the first strike was a brockage. I like technically odd coins more than most people. I'm not into perfect coins.

    Crazy yummy. Hard to beat pork done two ways on one plate, and at about $3.75 with the drink, it leaves a fair bit of change for the ol' coin budget :).

    Well, yesterday was not a normal day. I spent the entire day till nearly 11pm at the hospital with the misses. Surgery day. Anyway, before she went to the hospital, she made a large pork roast with potatoes, carrots and onions. As side dishes she made cole slaw and green beans with pinto beans mixed in. And of course gravey. Lets see. For breakfast I had a fast food egg and sausage biscuit and I did not eat lunch.

    Boring, but these tie as favorite beverages:

    As for food, I agree with Noob. A good Indian curry is always welcome. Better though is Thai... panang curry, garee curry, musman curry, etc. And always always always with a bowl of super yummy Tom Kah Gai soup:

    I'd eat Ethiopian regularly if there were any restaurants in my neck of the woods. I've tried and failed to make injera several times, once causing mild food poisoning :D. Injera a fascinating and very tasty Ethiopian flatbread/crepe/pancake upon which the food is piled. You also use the bread to grab mouthfuls of the stewed food. Mmm mmm good.
