The Denver mint mark is smaller than it's supposed to be Can you help The top coin is just to show an example of the normal mint mark size the one on the bottom looks like it might be a mint error because the D mint mark is really small
I'm not well-versed on the mint marks that were used on Lincoln cents, but it is very possible that a different size font was used since they are 42 years apart. Chris

Hi, here are two really good sites that have photos of the mint marks and the years they were used, Variety Vista (my go to for all things variety) and Wexler's die varieties... both have a wealth of information.
