ICG is not looked at to be as reliable as NGC, PCGS, and even ANACS. Also, First day of release on any slab is not correct, these coins were most likely slab after well after the first release. ICG is not considered horrible, though it is not the best, some buyers may not pay as much for ICG coins. There are differently worse TPGs though. Your coin looks to be a pretty nice example, I think it may be PF-69 DCAM though due to some blemishes on the reverse field.
I will take a few more pictures of them & post them later on & thank you all for your feedback as I am a new coin collector ! I have spent the better part of collecting buying US banknote's/error's so all your input is VERY helpful !
I'm referring to the one slabbed by PCGS as "Questionable Color", #31488508. I've owned a few dozen Ti-D-Bowls, and this one is questionable to me, too. This thread has been confused by too many coins being posted. Chris
No problem, Doug. It's your thread, and you're entitled. However, the people adding to this thread can make it less complicated by quoting which comment they are discussing. Chris
No I think your right no doubt . I was just thinking I should keep it simple . If I need I can always keep a couple separate/different threads ( Is that what's normal) ?
What I do only works with Window, first open the program "paint" (the drawing program that comes with all windows computers automatically) Here it is step by step on how I do it. First copy your image by right clicking it and clicking copy Paste it in a window of "Paint"
To me, keeping it simple would mean............don't try to confuse the readers any more than they already are. Chris
Try this NEW link: http://anacs.net/anacs_web_reports/serialsearch.php Direct link to your coin: http://anacs.net/anacs_web_reports/serialsearch.php?serial=562997 It worked for me. But hey it's Sunday, maintenance windows are often on week-ends.
Its appears to me as genuine toning. If it were artificially toning, I feel as though they would have put more color on the coin. It doesn't give off that "questionable" vibe to me.
