197? LC

    Hello everyone! I have a LC that I believe is a 197?? Can anyone tell what year it is? Just curious....

    In your picture #4 I see a slant. Maybe 1974. I don't know if it's Post Mint Damage or Struck Through Grease. I snipped your pic and compared it to a 1974 pic.. 1974DanSlant.JPG 1974a.JPG

    From the reverse image, it's definitely a '74 and later. I think that's about all you can be sure of.
    I think it's struck through grease.

    Who cares what the date is. Just list it on FleaBay as the year 197. There are plenty of bidiots who would buy it.

    i would reason a 1974 i have a very similar one at the house that for the longest time i thought was just PMD. its probably where grease filled that part of the die and didn't strike properly. the best example of this is seen on the 1999 conn. SQ. where the fisrt three digits 199 are completly missing. I believe that its only on the proof conn. SQ. though.
