Wondering if anyone could weigh in on this note for me. Valuation, rarity, etc.? dated 1807, July 5th, serial number 3127 and likely in at least V.F. condition, close cut. Any help appreciated. I purchased this in 2005 for $20.00 at an estate sale along with a lot of 1800's envelopes and other postal history. 1 1807 berkshire bank note.jpg

Here's a nice clean, well-struck modern counterstamp that I added to my collection several weeks ago. There are only a dozen or so documented, but there are likely more yet to be discovered. Although these issues have been known for many years, they've only been attributed fairly recently.

The Bil-Mar Resort was located in a suburb of St. Petersburg, FL. called Treasure Island. The complex was built in the early 1960s Though not advertising tokens per se, they served some purpose within the resort...perhaps awarding the bearer a free drink, meal, or something else. All known examples are struck on these old English Pennies.

Sorry, I'm not able to post a pic for some reason...I'll try later.
