Yes. My guess is between 50,000 to 52,000 set.

 

Mine also went to "Processing" this morning and my credit card was charged! Yea! 3 sets headed my way.

Never heard of such a thing. My guess is they are low grade returns from large purchasers. Now, with this low mintage, even the lower grades may be worth far more than the purchase price.

Upon receiving the coins. We should know if those coins are the returns.

 

How will we know? What should we be looking for? Will the Mint tell you? If the Mint tells you, then please let us know what such coins look like. I know you have a special relationship with the US Mint and they whisper all the secrets into your ear at night when you are sleeping. Please tell us your secrets!

 

I ordered 5 sets on 12/12 as of now its showing PROCESSING and my credit card has a pending charge from the US Mint for $74.70. Looks like I may be in. Good luck to all.

The US mint has done that, & still doing that. If you didn't get coins at all then I guess you should of ordered earlier.
You could have ordered on 12/4/14 without a household limit. Wish I had ordered more then I did at the time.
You had other windows to order after that with household limit of 5.

 

How can I saw 12/4, 12/10, 12/11, 12/12, 12/14 and no one mention those in between dates. Am I correct?.

 

Good news for me. ALL of my friends & family sets ordered on 12/11 went to processing yesterday with all cards dinged.
& these really are friends & family, no alternate accounts,cards or addresses.
I gave them a call and asked them to order 5 sets & that was it.

 

I ordered 5 from my business acct on 12-11 and I just checked and it says processing. So I guess that means I will be getting those 5 soon.

I remember many things about many things.......most times irrelevant.

 

They were going on and off sale during this period, so those are probably the dates they were on sale.

 

I agree that the sets being distributed now are returns from earlier sales. I was able to get in on the second wave of Baseball Hall of Fame Silver Dollars, but upon inspection of my coin, I would have sent it back, which I assume it was. It wouldn't surprise me at all that they are trying to re-distribute the returns.
