These are the two best photos I can get as of now. Personally, I think it's in very good condition and don't really plan on finishing the Flying Eagle cents as of yet. I did the frowned upon thing and bought it as an end coin on a roll with a decent 1862 IH. The seller at least put 5 more IHs in the roll haha as well as a 1909 VDB so it was worth it for me! Or so I like to believe... I'll attach the 1862 later if I get around to it.

    What do yall think?

Not a bad coin - might grade out at F12. Probably a 30+$ coin on Ebay!

I shy away from these types of made up rolls as you just never even know what the two end coins look like on their other sides. Besides, they often get bid up way to high towards the end of the auction. Looks like at least a fine with some porosity. But if you are happy with your purchase then that's all that counts.

$35 flying eagle, $6 for the VDB, and $10 for the 1862 in Fine+ $6-$7 for the rest of the indians

    How much did you pay??

I like it at F12, too. I'd want better in the tail feathers to go F15.

A little closer on the flying eagle and the 1909 VDB. Including shipping it came out to about $82. So maybe not TOTALLY worth it to some but it filled the 1862 slot and IIRC 2 of the other Indian heads had good LIBERTY and I think one partial. Either way those were an improvement over the ones I had.

I still say I made out well... At least for me ...
