bad grading

    This one I don't get. Coloring? Being a woody may drop the grade, but it usually grades.

    Seems undergraded to me on a quick look. I guess maybe they think it was dipped to death, but the luster looks great from here!

    What generation holder is this in? I see a lot of older slabbed Commemorative halves getting GOLD stickers at CAC.

    I don't think you really care about CAC, but based on your photo this seems like a no-brainer for a gold CAC sticker.

    I thought this coin was under graded by 1 point, but CAC did NOT think so and agreed with NGC, as it being a high end MS62. I have since sold this coin.

    Just ordered me a book on grading, might try to figure out why.

    Not a terribly old holder. Solid blue tag sometime after the "series/coin#" tags.
