Here's a couple of tokens I got recently. The Lincoln token is a real beauty in hand and the detailing is like new. The Indian token is very nice as well.
I have one post card of the Catskills Mountain Hotel from 1901 not used in my safety deposit boxes I will post it asap. Its a semi rare one not being used. My great grandmother was a flipper back then. She was a regular at this place til it closeup.
jello again Thank You for your service!!! Did you get a tigers tail for your gas tank with that token? Keychain isn't it?? Welcome home jello!!!
Here' an older Great Britain Medal 1843 Opening of Thames Tunnel. Sir I.M.Brunel 170 years old medal to commemorate the opening of the Thames River tunnel sub way.
Here's a couple of tokens I have and one I'm waiting to get delivered. Couldn't wait though b/c this one has really gone up in price lately. I'm talking about the Black Face Index Token. This is known as Black Americana and unfortunately society use to laugh at stuff like this. Not anymore, heck it's even Black History Month. Hopefully the racism used in the making of this token will never show it's ugly face ever again. Still a cool token though, at least I like it!
I am the distributor of Robert Stump's book. Sadly, my good friend and colleague Bob (Stumpy) passed away a short while after the book went to print, and before he could see the final fruits of his work. R.I.P. Stumpy! Both editions of 100 books each, have been long sold-out. I have not seen even one offered on the secondary market. I have a few hundreds of different pop-out coins, and my collection is growing every month with new finds. I am working on publishing a new edition of the book, with more information, photo examples of newly found pop-up coins, and a more up-to-date price guide. I would be more than happy to assist anyone and answer any questions anyone may have about these wonderful creations of art!
You are 100% correct in everything you write! Unfortunately, the website www.popoutcoin.com has died together with Stumpy.
I like the look of pop-out coins but don't have any myself. Would you be able to show us pics of a few Oded? It would be much appreciated. Bruce
Looking forward to the new book. "my collection is growing every month with new finds." Where do you find them?
My 3rd example of this CWT, but I can't control myself when I see a nice example for such a good price.
